LONDON, United Kingdom - June 27th, 2024 - Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, has officially revealed the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2024. 

The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ rankings include organisations who have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace. To compile the prestigious list, Great Place to Work culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including: work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List, Great Place to Work® reviews the culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from each company’s employees. Data insights are then used to benchmark each company's employee value proposition against the culture their employees actually experience. Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

Analysis of employee survey responses found:

  • 93% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing say “I am able to take time off from work when I think it’s necessary” compared to a UK average of 66%
  • 84% of employees at UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing say “Management make its expectations clear” compared to UK average of 66%
  • 86% of UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing “people look forward to coming to work here” vs the UK average of just 55%
