What defines us

Since 2019 we have been on a cultural transformation journey to create a better place to work. Our approach was to ensure every team member felt they were integral to making change happen. We took a phased approach - establishing internal champions, building a values-led culture with values set by employees, developing a manifesto and activity shaped around that, while creating forums for open feedback, reviews, collaboration and creation of ideas. Our programme included;

1. Finding internal champions of change: ‘Culture Champions’ were nominated by employees.

2. Setting our values: A set of ‘Culture Mindset Values’ were developed and implemented by employees, helping define the business and ways everyone would live and work with each other.

3. Establishing values and ensuring we live them: These values evolved into a business Manifesto, to embed a clear code of how every individual worked with one another

What inspires us

In addition to the usual core benefits of pension, life insurance, permanent health insurance, private medical insurance, 24 days holiday increasing to 27 based on length of service, we like to recognise our employees based on their length of service and give them a yearbook that includes comments and photos of their journey with us, along with a gift to celebrate their anniversary. Each week peers can recognise each other and call out achievements linked to our culture manifesto. At the end of the year we recognise the individuals with the most nominations.

We have a flexible approach to work with employees working remotely or they can use the office spaces in London, Leeds & Reading, they have total flexibility. Our teams have managed to collaborate and be really creative over MS Teams for the last 2 years. We've even hosted social events over Teams, such as a cocktail masterclass, Christmas party, quizzes, personal training, aromatherapy and crystal sessions.
