Our Friday brainstorms are an opportunity for the whole team to collaborate and solve business and client challenges. Examples of briefs over the past six months have included how we can generate more visitors to the TopLine Comms website, ideas for our blog and social media, as well as plenty of client campaigns.
At TopLine Comms, employees have plenty of opportunities for informal interaction. Scheduled quarterly socials have included everything from escape rooms to karaoke nights to sushi-making classes, and events such as Xmas Jumper Day give the team a chance to get into the festive spirit and do some good at the same time. Birthdays and anniversaries are also celebrated with the requisite cake, card and drinks.
But fun and camaraderie can’t just occur on dates marked in the calendar, so we make a point of allowing ‘TopLiners’ to blow off steam. Every Friday at 4 pm we have office drinks (often continuing to the pub, where the first round is on the company) and bi-monthly tea parties give everyone a chance to catch up and re-caffeinate. Get fit activities also ensure that everyone is encouraged to look after their wellbeing, and ping pong games are a daily (and highly competitive) occurrence.
