What defines us
Medidata is a unique place and we’ve managed to keep consistent themes in our cultural makeup around the globe while we rapidly evolve and grow. Through our efforts to truly instill a sense of belonging, we’ve launched Employee Engagement Local Councils in each of our office locations, with a keen focus on optimising all efforts around Culture, D&I & CSR. We celebrate together and take time to have fun and socialise with each other during our annual summer, winter and halloween parties. Nearly all employees and the leadership team wear costumes and compete in global team contests for prizes. Nearly 50% of the organisation has joined a Business Resource Group of choice for both a sense of community and to be a part of something larger than just their day job by contributing to the goals of the Charter put together by the BRG that aligns with both the D&I strategy and overall business goals. We currently have 7 BRGs, Black Employees at Medidata (BEAM), Women of Colour (WOC), Women In Tech (WIT), MedidataOut,- LGBTQIA, Latinos Organised for Leading and Achieving (LOLA), Veterans and Remotians. At Medidata most employees are highly engaged in giving back to their local community and there are many opportunities with various offerings underneath our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy to do so. We invest heavily in our employees’ development in programs around unconscious bias, coaching, feedback, inclusion leadership, males as allies to reinforce the importance and value we place on building a strong culture.
