About us

For nearly four decades, Adobe has had an enduring mission to change the world through digital experiences. Only Adobe gives everyone — from emerging artists to global brands — everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. We call it creativity for all.

Now that we are faced with these unprecedented times, where digital has become our primary means to engage with the world around us, we believe that our mission has never been more important.

As the devastating impact of Covid-19 changes everything about life and work as we know it, every brand, business and organisation is required to digitally pivot around ‘the new normal’. As schools moved online, we gave in-home licenses for Adobe Creative Cloud to students and provided free distance learning resources to educators. We  provided software, consulting services, and enhanced progammes like our trial of Adobe Sign to businesses, nonprofits and government agencies to help keep their operations running and to power essential services. These commitments form part of Adobe’s ongoing dedication to our customers, community and our people.

What employees say

Since joining Adobe, I’ve been pleased to see the company so committed to its staff, particularly when it comes to work/life balance. I feel encouraged to grow as a professional, but also to be myself and continue pursuing my interests both in and outside the office. The commitment to inclusion also stands out. For instance, Adobe Pride was a highlight of last year for me. The event was supported across the business, and it was great to see the company so committed to bringing people from different backgrounds together.

What defines us

At Adobe we have a core belief – a belief that digital experiences have the power to change the world – and it guides our efforts to champion our employees, empower voices, and lift communities. Adobe’s commitment to our communities and our 22,500 employees in 35 countries has remained unchanged throughout our history.

To champion our people, we strive to create an environment where our employees can do their best work and drive their career growth and development. Core to achieving this is our belief that everyone deserves respect and equal treatment, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, cultural background or religious beliefs or anything else that makes us who we are. When people feel appreciated and included, they can be more creative, innovative, and successful. We call our vision Adobe For All

Alongside these commitments, we have significantly invested in a work culture that is fun, and defined by meaningful work, constant learning, brilliant people, and a community guided by core values that promote quality, creativity and opportunity in everything we do.

What inspires us

People: We believe great companies start with a great culture. Adobe’s founders created a place where they themselves would like to work: a place where great ideas can emerge from anywhere in the organisation.

Purpose: At Adobe, we want to inspire people to make a meaningful impact on the world. We want to elevate diverse voices outside of our organisation too, so in 2019 we awarded $3.5 million in creativity and STEAM scholarships to create greater opportunities for the underrepresented in 25 different countries. We believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and work, and supported 60,000 non-profit organisations and invested $50 million into our communities in 2019 alone. To build a sustainable future, we quadrupled our renewable energy deployment in 2019, and are on track to achieve 100% renewable energy by 2035.

Innovation: Innovation at Adobe inspires more than just our products. We’ve reimagined our business model, performance management, and how we surface new ideas from across the organisation. We bring creative people together in an environment that rewards experimentation and breaking the status quo.

Action highlights

Our industry can feel like a 24x7 commitment, and time away from work can feel like an increasingly precious commodity. We value our peoples’ time both in and outside the office, and continue to offer better time-off benefits so employees can better integrate their work and personal lives.

Our generous parental leave programme offers up to 26 weeks of paid primary caregiver leave at 100% of salary, and up to four weeks of paid non-primary caregiver leave.

We also understand that returning to work isn’t always easy. Our “Welcome Back” programme helps employees make the transition back after extended leave with part-time, flex-time, and work-from-home arrangements.

For employees who want to develop their skillsets and keep up with the changing nature of work, we offer an education assistance programme and learning fund of 1000USD/year. Access to LinkedIn Learning and the Harvard ManageMentor platform also put on-demand business and technical training at our employees’ fingertips. Together, these initiatives make fresh thinking the norm at Adobe.

Finally, we know that wellness and performance go hand-in-hand. Employees are reimbursed for their favourite wellness activities, and can attend weekly yoga or boot camps directly on site. We also provide free access to the Headspace app, and encourage our people to meditate whether they need to focus, boost their creativity, or just get more sleep at night.
