TT2 is the operator of the Tyne Tunnels, at its simplest we exist to operate the two road tunnels under the River Tyne. TT2 is responsible for the management, operation, maintenance and administration of the Tyne Tunnels. We are a key point in the infrastructure of the North East's road network and provide a much-needed connection between the North and South to support regional growth through the A19.
