Phoenix Natural Gas provides the safe and secure supply of natural gas to the 245,000 domestic and business consumers connected to its network. Having invested over £500m into the local economy, the wider natural gas industry extends to installers, manufacturers, retailers and suppliers and provides employment to over 2,500 people locally. We are working with industry partners to further decarbonise home heating for consumers by using our existing infrastructure to deliver renewable gas solutions such as biomethane and hydrogen direct to consumers homes by 2050 which will play a key role in supporting a net-zero carbon future.
