What inspires us

We truly cares about our colleagues, customers, and communities. Here are three examples that stand out from the last year:

  • We committed to new actions to drive racial equity and diversity: Last year, Verisk published a public Statement on Racial Equity and Diversity. We recognized the need to explicitly stand against racism and bias and acknowledged our part to make change in our own organization.
  • We made well-being a priority: We heard employees were struggling with balancing work and personal obligations. We launched a variety of new initiatives including: a well-being intranet site, global EAP, virtual well-being classes (HIIT, yoga, mindfulness...), a six-week self-care program, Verisk Well-being Day and early departure summer Fridays.
  • We found new ways to come together for our communities: This included a new intranet and frequent townhalls, amping up our community engagement via giving employees up to 8 hours for civic engagement activities a year, and new customer solutions.
