Project One enables me to focus on delivering great results for customers without the politics and hierarchy that exist within traditional consulting organisations. This fundamental part of the culture generates significant additional benefits beyond merely making it a great place to work – best exemplified by the breadth of support available from across the organisation.
Working for Project One is refreshingly different. We have a positive culture based on strong values, mutual respect and collaboration, and share a genuine desire to help each other achieve the best result for our customers.
Your experience really counts at Project One; we’ll trust you to do your job and we won’t pigeon-hole you either. Getting together to celebrate success, and reward and recognise high performance, is something we love to do.
We pride ourselves on the wellbeing and support which we offer to our people. We were recently recognised by Great Place to Work© as a centre of Excellence in Wellbeing.
At Project One, we are proud to be a company that puts the needs of its customers and people first.
Our Culture is based on strong values and mutual respect, this is consulting for grown-ups. You’ll be trusted to do your job and deliver what your customers need. No balanced scorecards, onerous performance reviews or personal objectives. It’s about honesty, integrity, collaboration and regular team events to catch up and have fun too.
Our unique reward structure is transparent, fair, is not linked to a subjective appraisal and is structured to reward high performance. The overall package includes a Pension Scheme, Life Insurance and Private Health benefits.
We are proud of our people and we value their contribution. We award members of the team who have gone above and beyond in supporting the growth of the business, and at our annual summer event we also hold a Values Awards ceremony which gives us the opportunity to celebrate the very best of Project One.
We are delighted to have been named a Best Workplace by Great Place to Work, particularly as this was our first entry into the awards.
What is particularly pleasing is how the award reflects the direct feedback from our people and also a review of our approach to how we want Project One to work as a business. The high response rate (96%) gave us the reassurance we had made the right decision to use GPTW.
Scoring highly against empowerment and accountability, reward and recognition and diversity was particularly pleasing; fairness and respect are core to Project One. Our people lead some of the most complex change agendas with our customers; trusting them to do the right thing for our customers is a fundamental part of how we work.
We have areas to focus on; finding out learning was so important to our people was just the type of feedback we wanted to get.
What do we look for?
A proven track record of leading and delivering major change programmes is essential, ideally with experience of undertaking programme assurance reviews and programme recovery.
Whether your experience is in IT or Business Transformation, or if you have advised on internal change capability or helped clients to shape their strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
We work across the UK and Globally, so you’ll need to have full location flexibility and be comfortable working away from home as required.
At Project One, we are Change Experts. We are one of the fastest growing management consultancies in the UK and have great ambitions. We are independent and empower our people to lead our business.
We work with many of the UK’s leading organisations, across multiple sectors, to deliver transformational and business-critical change, at scale, with most of our programmes having £multi-million budgets.
All our consultants have 15-20 years of experience of leading and delivering on major programmes of change, and work on challenging and varied assignments, across a range of industries and customers.
