What defines us

What inspires us

We hold Investor in People Gold Standard and was voted number 22 in 2017 Great Place to Work within the small company category, something our prospective employees mention when they are interviewing with us and something we are proud of.   

We offer an agile work environment with working from home and glide time, where an individual works their standard hours, but can glide their time during the day dependent on personal circumstances.

We offer some great benefits including health cover, life assurance, contribution to gym membership, cycle to work scheme, travel loan. We have also just introduced 16 full weeks maternity pay and 16 weeks half pay. We have also increased holiday entitlement to increase per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days. We also offer long service awards to employees who have been with the company 5 10, 15, 20 etc years which consists of a weekend away with a friend, partner.   

Monthly awards are given to employees throughout the group for performance of the month within different teams and each individual receives vouchers to the value of £250.

Action highlights


We have created an Employee Engagement Group.  This is a group of volunteers from across the business at different levels who act as spokespeople for their colleagues.  Each meeting is chaired by a different member of the group and they bring a topic to the table of what they would like to discuss.  This year we have discussed on-boarding and mentoring.   Resulting from this has been a guide for managers with regards welcoming new people to the business in order we have a consistent approach across the organisation.  We are also just about to launch a mentoring scheme to the whole of the business from the work done by the group.

We have open plan offices and have put in place a hot desk policy so individuals are able to sit with the senior management team members which enables all to provide and receive feedback in general conversations throughout the day.   Our office space is also sectioned into quiet spaces, social spaces, team spaces so depending on what someone is working on they are able to sit where they are going to get the best results for the work they are doing.

Creating a great experience involves lots of challenges. It starts with providing a clear vision as to what the business wants to achieve and then creating deep engagement with our teams during the business planning stages, ensuring they are all key stakeholders. We want engagement in our goals through clear, open and straightforward communication. We want fair process leadership, where we consult on the important issues and we want genuine collaboration underpinned by strong values. We believe that these behaviours create the platform for a good employee experience however they are only the starting point. Great leadership, an agile working environment and high quality learning and development are also essential.

Application tips

When hiring we try and identify individuals who share the company's values by competency questioning around our values of Visionary, Collaborative, Brave, Honourable and Genuine.  We understand that we may not find all of our values in everyone but if a candidate can show a passion and enthusiasm for what they are doing and wants to learn and become a member of our great team, we can work with them on developing skills in other areas.

For our Sales Consultants we would want to see past success in a sales role, preferably in the professional services arena and they need to have drive and good influencing skills.

Our great workplace

We are based in glass buildings with stunning views across Central London and the North York Moors. Our offices include different zones where individuals can choose where they sit dependent on the work they have to do. If they need to concentrate they can sit in the quiet zones, if they need to work as part of their team they can use of the social spaces or break-out areas for their meeting.
