By increasing our focus on our staff and realised that to have a high performing business we needed to go back to basics, starting with our people. 

Through our various "voice of the employee" channels, we have focused on doing the right thing with the Great Place To Work and Best Workplaces certifications being that ‘seal of approval’ from employees,  that TP UK are doing a good job. 

Focusing on the health and wellbeing of staff has been critical to the cultural shift we have have seen for the better. We wanted to have a workplace environment where people could thrive, where their physical and mental health was a priority and be a fun place to work. 

Over the last 12 months we have designed & implemented a plethora of programmes designed to deliver just that, from focusing on the physical, mental and emotional wellness of our staff. After all they are, and always will be our biggest asset!

Word from the top

To be placed 25 in the super large category in the UK is an outstanding achievement. Making the top 100 would have been amazing, but this is beyond our highest expectations and makes us hugely proud, that our people feel this way about our organisation.

Two-way communication is critical for our business, so we have introduced various channels & initiatives to support this, including Town Halls with myself and Executive Team, wellbeing forums, team engagement groups and much, much more. With Town Halls for example, we have only one rule: speak freely and ask any questions. We wanted the 'voice of the employee' not just to be a one-time thing, but something that was continuous and ongoing, which would be able to evolve as we move forward and the business grows. 

Supporting the mental health of our people has been massively important, especially during the pandemic. We’ve invested time and money into providing training, mental health first aider support, tools and support to staff 24/7.
