    Windward Energy Group is the next generation power business helping to solve the UK’s energy challenges by developing renewable generation, modern grid infrastructure, and long-duration electricity storage. Founded in 2018, Windward Energy Group was built from the ground up and independently funded. Since then, we have grown into one of the UK’s most ambitious independent energy developers with 152 employees, growing to circa 200 by the end of 2025. We incubate and grow businesses, and act as a support function for our portfolio with specialist internal teams including energy policy experts, lawyers, HR managers and financial specialists.
