The Seda International Packaging Group headquartered in Arzano (Naples) is a world leader in the food packaging sector that was established by Cavaliere del Lavoro Salvatore D'Amato in 1964. Today, the Seda Group has 14 production facilities in Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal and the United States, and exports worldwide.

Inspired by its founder, Seda’s mission has since its inception been to continually advance the development of innovative, sustainable packaging solutions, with the aim not only of protecting food integrity, consumer health and the environment, but also of improving the quality of life of millions of people every day.

Led by Antonio D'Amato (President) and his brother Gianfranco (COO) since the early 1990s, the Seda Group has continued to constantly invest in research and development focused on new materials and technologies, pursued at its Arzano "Research, Development and Sustainability Centre" and in the various production hubs present in its other European offices and the United States.

The Seda Group has around 3,000 employees and partners globally with some of the world's largest food companies, including Unilever, Nestle, McDonald's, Coca Cola and Starbucks. Its Italian factories generate approximately 50% of Group turnover and export over 70% of their production to three continents.

More than 45% of the Group’s turnover currently comes from products for which the Group has patents or exclusive know-how and proprietary technologies. This, together with constant analysis of market trends and dynamics, enables Seda to create cutting-edge packaging solutions that anticipate changes in demand and future consumer needs, using materials and processes that are fully integrated in the logic of the circular economy.
