    Company Overview East Coast Growers farm 300ha over a 20 mile radius around the Norfolk Broads near Martham (10 miles from Great Yarmouth). The farm is a member of The G’s Growers Producer Organisation.  Utilising our Grade 1 soils, a range of conventional and organic baby leaves are grown from May through to the end of October. East Coast Growers work closely with landlords to enhance and protect the environment in the surrounding Broadlands National Park. The farm employs 12 colleagues on an annual basis with the workforce increasing to 35 during the seasonal harvest period. Our coastal climate provides an ideal environment in which to grow salad crops in the middle of the summer, with the cooler coastal climate promoting a better leaf structure, the coastal situation also enables us to extend the growing season through into the end of October with a reduced frost risk. The Farm Manager is Steve Lawley.
