What defines us

As a company we are leaders in business support services for the public sector, but it is our people who make the biggest difference. Ensuring a consistently great work experience for our employees is as important to us as the service we deliver.

As a people-centric organisation, we recognise that the health and wellbeing of our people is of paramount importance. We want to provide a safe and healthy working environment, equipping our colleagues with the right tools and support.

A happy workforce is a healthy workforce, and health and wellbeing go beyond just physical. We knew the impact of COVID-19 would be monumental on our people’s physical, emotional, and mental health. SSCL’s dedication to embedding a culture of Our People Matter has assisted in a smooth transition to the “new normal” through these unprecedented times.

We want our people to feel supported and to ensure that everyone understands that they can really make a difference!

What inspires us

Over many years SSCL has introduced a broad range of benefits and employment options for employees that is very flexible and can best support their lifestyles. In the same way each of our employees brings something unique to the company, we want to provide a special and unique range of benefits for them to choose from. To allow us to showcase our existing and new benefits, we launched the Benefits Hub, so it is easy to see what is on offer, make informed choices and personalise benefits. To help navigate, we grouped them into three categories: Finance & Protection, Health & Wellbeing, Leisure & Lifestyle. Our portfolio includes benefits such as Car Allowance, Critical Illness and Life Insurance cover, Personal Accident Insurance, Pension, Share Incentive Plan – and are offered to help our employees. We care about our people, and recognise that employees that feel safe, secure, and valued will generally be happier in their job, show more loyalty and be more productive in their roles
