' The culture - making people feel welcome and a part of something bigger. People are genuine, empathetic, collaborative across teams, low ego and very little hierarchy '
' Genuine Community First - Commerce Second approach which makes this and amazing place to work '
We were named after our founder & CEO Pat Lynes young sons (Sullivan & Stanley) to represent the future of work and Pat's determination to create a purpose led consultancy that disrupts and replaces ineffective and unhealthy ways of working.
Together our people created a Vivid Vision , a picture of what it will feel like to work for and partner with Sullivan & Stanley by 2023. Our Vivid Vision is our compass and guide as we grow.
We are inspired by:
Helping people to be their best selves
Serving the communities in which we live and work
Forming relationships that create Customers for Life
Helping firms to be truly Change Ready and enacting healthy, sustainable change
2021 has been a busy year for us - the strange 2020/21 Covid year gave us a chance to stop, reflect and design an intentional people experience which is centred on two statement ' be your best self ' and ' leadership everywhere ' . We knew that we'd be bracing ourselves for rapid growth and wanted to attract and keep the best people.
Starting the GPTW accreditation process created a company wide focus , we have a living people plan made up of 8 focus area - one of which is great hiring and onboarding.
Creating a more robust hiring process followed by a structured onboarding pairing new team members with a team buddy has been a real success. We keep very close to candidates and new joiners , sending welcome packs and ensuring that their first 12 weeks with S&S get us all off to a cracking start. We have used Gallup Strengths throughout our employee lifecycle to assess, articulate and lean into our collective Strengths too to unlock confidence & capability.
I am equally thrilled and humbled by our first set of GPTW results - it's testament to our wonderful team who all leaned into our value of ' Look After One Another ' that we stepped out of the challenging Covid 18 months so united.
I founded S&S five years ago to challenge the outdated and unhealthy practices change consultancies were exhibiting. I knew we could make a difference (I wasn't sure quite how) and we are!
We are partnering with like-minded clients and leverage our extensive community of expert associates to help firms to be truly change ready. I'm so proud of how we're faring but leave to the last word to my team who say ' we are just better together ' .
