As I write this statement, I am currently in week 11 at Logicalis. I was previously at Cisco for over 20 years, so it is no exaggeration to say that changing employer was a bit of a shock to the system. So, why have I chosen Logicalis. Firstly, given my previous role, I already knew a few people at Logicalis, and everyone of them was keen to tell me how much of a “family” atmosphere Logicalis has, and how much of a great place to work it is. What inspires us

At Logicalis UK, its really important for us to encourage a fun working environment , we want to make sure our working year is filled with exciting events, during the pandemic we introduced a weekly quiz night [what’s more fun than a little department competition] as well as things like a virtual chocolate tasting event, our virtual Christmas party and 2 virtual kick off meetings with a goodie bag for our employees and their families to enjoy. Wellbeing at Logicalis UK is at the forefront of what we do, we have spent the lats few weeks creating a dedicated wellbeing page on our intranet, where we post content on all thing’s wellbeing related for our employees to be able to access any time. During the very challenging time this year, we also created a COVID-19 policy, which allows our employees 5 days paid leave to support our employees and those who are trying to balance full time work and home schooling, as well as employees who are carers or have vulnerable family/friend members.

Want to make your CV stand out to the Logicalis HR Team. Follow our 5 tips for creating a great first impression with your CV. 1. Keep it simple. Be clear and concise. Ensure the document is well formatted with no spelling mistakes, ask someone you know and trust to proofread your application and CV and don’t forget to make sure your contact information is current and up-to-date. 2. Keep it short and sweet. Make sure your CV is no more than 2 pages. Bullet points are a great way to highlight your skills and achievements. 3. Make sure your responses highlight how your experience and skills are relevant to the role you’re applying for. Focus on what you have achieved in past roles, including targets met or exceeded, money or time saved, processes improved. 4.
