Our employees are a top priority and our award-winning benefits programs are at the core of our company culture. Due to the spread of COVID-19 we focused on supporting employees and their families by providing more flexibility to support employees caring for children and family members at home. We gave employees a half-day off to recharge and de-stress and an additional full-day off in June 2020 to help alleviate potential work-from-home burnout. We also understand the importance of having a well-equipped space to work efficiently and productively from home, which is why Lytx provided a $250 work-from-home stipend to help employees equip their home offices. From an all-employee survey in October, we learned that 100% of employees responded they feel supported by Lytx while working remotely during the pandemic. Giving back to our communities is an important part of Lytx and our Helping Hands program makes it easy for employees to get involved through volunteer paid time off.
We’re proud to offer unique benefits focused on employee wellbeing, company culture and a healthy working environment. These benefits include hybrid work arrangements to encourage balance between work and home responsibilities and flexible time off. We launched a new employee recognition and appreciation program to recognize and reward employees. We also mailed Surprise and Delight gift boxes to all of employees’ homes with masks, hand sanitizer and other self-care items along with messages telling employees how much we care and how we hope they prioritize their wellbeing. Company culture has always been a central focus at Lytx and 2020 presented new opportunities for us to explore. For the first time, we launched a virtual Summer Wellness Challenge where employees formed teams and earned points for daily physical activity, hours of sleep and screen breaks. We continue to encourage employees to prioritize their health by staying active and connected through a virtual wellness program.
