We’ve been in the business of supplying architectural ironmongery to tradespeople for over 50 years, including builders, joiners, and maintenance companies, to name a few. We started out as a traditional ironmongery shop, but today we’re trusted to deliver thousands of orders every week to tradespeople all over the UK, taking orders mainly by phone and through our website.

One of the many HR initiatives in IronmongeryDirect is our Learning Week, dedicated to our employees learning new skills.

We have learning sessions led by our own people, where staff are invited to learn more about each department, or topics of interest, to increase their understanding of the company as a whole or upskill in certain areas

All staff are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they can and ones that cover areas they are unfamiliar with. This not only allows for confidence building, but our staff learn more about the roles and activities in the business so they continue to WOW! Every session they attend goes towards achieving the company standard of 40 hours of learning each year.
