What defines us

One thing that makes us unique is our approach to leadership. We believe that every Kronite deserves a great manager. For that, we took a deep quantitative and qualitative look into what our most effective managers do –– and exactly how they do it. This “great manager” data was gathered through a variety of sources from across Kronos – including focus groups, employee engagement surveys, Courage to Lead training sessions, feedback forms, and day-to-day interactions – and compiled into a master database to analyse what great managers do well specifically at Kronos, and where to improve.

Based on what Kronites are saying about their managers, it turns out that there are a discreet set of Kronos behaviours that are common to the most effective people managers. Great Kronos managers create an environment of trust and transparency by:

1. Empowering and enabling employees

2. Communicating openly and honestly

3. Developing and encouraging direct reports

4. Supporting the whole person, in and out of the workplace.

To keep us on track, our managers are scored against these behaviours every 6 months as part of our Manager Effectiveness Index.
