DMW is an independent technology consultancy based in London and Leeds. We have a 30 year track record of working with public and private sector organisations to manage change in an increasingly complicated and competitive world. When the opportunity is significant, but the risks are high, clients trust us to deliver complex, business-critical, IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy through to operations.

DMW was founded in 1989 by five individuals who believed there was a better way to deliver value to clients, by creating a different kind of IT consultancy. These consultants wanted the opportunity to forge closer relationships with their clients working with the real decision makers in client organisations. Since then the firm has focused on delivering pragmatic advice, guidance and leadership.

What employees say

At DMW, we are each given £2,000 per year to support us reaching our career goals. Some years I have spent my training budget on attending formal courses such as Amazon Web Service’s Solutions Architect Bootcamp and Leading SAFe. More recently, I have attended conferences such as AWS re:Invent 2018 over in Las Vegas. These events have given me technical insights and strategies that I’ve been able to bring back to our clients – something that’s been recognised by my recent promotion to Technical Director. It’s great to have the flexibility to choose what I think will help me keep my skills and knowledge up to date.

Application tips

We want to work with people who share our passion for delivering business value through the use of technology.  Our people also need to be team players, think logically and be able to express their views clearly.  You’ll also be able to demonstrate that you can contribute in one of our focus areas of Cloud, Digital, and/or Data. And if you can also demonstrate experience in the Finance, Energy or Public Sectors we’d be even more pleased to meet you. 

Our interview process is informal, but is designed to explore these areas.  We’ll want to understand the depth of your technology knowledge and how you approach delivery work.  We’ll also want to talk about what is important to you in your career, and what motivates you – we want you to feel comfortable and thrive at DMW. 

Finally, we make sure you have plenty of opportunity to understand how our firm works.  Either by asking questions in interviews, or more informal meetings with some of our people.  Perhaps at one of our regular social meetings.
