About us

Adobe is the global leader in digital customer experience and media solutions. Our mission is to change the world through digital experiences, giving people the tools to bring their ideas to life and create content that makes life more fun and work more meaningful.

Only Adobe gives everyone — from emerging artists to global brands — everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences.

From the moment you wake up until you go to bed, chances are much of the content, ads, apps, and websites you interact with were touched by Adobe technology. We are behind the gorgeously designed content that streams across your laptop, TV, phone, and tablet every day. We’re also the ones who harness the massive power of big data to help brands create compelling experiences that matter to their customers.

Throughout our history, one thing that hasn’t changed is Adobe’s commitment to our communities and our people. We are dedicated to creating an exceptional work environment for all of our employees, and our values are an integral part of what makes Adobe a great place to work. These values are not just words on paper, they are embodied in the actions and behaviours of our employees around the world:

• Genuine: We are sincere, trustworthy and reliable, operating with integrity and treating each other with respect

• Exceptional: Good enough is not good enough. We are committed to creating exceptional experiences for our employees and customers alike

• Innovative: We value creativity and opportunity for all, and empower everyone in our business to share their best ideas and contribute to our success

• Involved: People are our greatest asset. We are inclusive, open and actively engaged with our customers, partners, employees and the communities we serve.

What employees say

Since joining Adobe, I’ve been pleased to see the company so committed to its staff, particularly when it comes to work/life balance. I feel encouraged to grow as a professional, but also to be myself and continue pursuing my interests both in and outside the office. The commitment to inclusion also stands out. For instance, Adobe Pride was a highlight of last year for me. The event was supported across the business, and it was great to see the company so committed to bringing people from different backgrounds together.

What defines us

At Adobe we strive to create an environment where our employees can do their best work and drive their career growth and development based on their personal goals. We also believe that everyone deserves respect and equal treatment, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, cultural background or religious beliefs. We call our vision Adobe For All, and this vision guides how we hire, manage and support the growth of our employees as well as the role we play in changing the world for the better.

We understand that being a great place to work isn’t just about pay and perks; it’s about the culture a company creates and the communities it builds inside and outside its walls. Adobe Life means being part of a community – a community where we collaborate, never stop learning, get actively involved and, most importantly, where we know how to have fun.

Our work culture is defined by meaningful work, constant learning, brilliant people, and a community guided by core values that promote quality, creativity and opportunity in everything we do.

What inspires us

Here’s what we believe makes Adobe unique in the industry:

People: We believe great companies start with a great culture. Adobe’s founders created a place where they themselves would like to work: a place where great ideas can emerge from anywhere in the organization. Thirty-five years after our founding, our commitment to our customers, community and culture is stronger than ever.

Purpose: At Adobe, we want to inspire people to make a meaningful impact on the world. We invest in the people and organizations who find creative ways to make a meaningful change in the areas of education, sustainability and community.

Innovation: Innovation at Adobe inspires more than just our products. We’ve reimagined our business model, performance management, and how we surface new ideas from across the organization. We bring creative people together in an environment that rewards experimentation and breaking the status quo. This is what has enabled us to transform numerous industries throughout our history – from desktop publishing to electronic documents to interactive web experiences and games.

Action highlights

Our industry can feel like a 24x7 commitment, and time away from work can feel like an increasingly precious commodity. We value our peoples’ time both in and outside the office, and continue to offer better time-off benefits so employees can better integrate their work and personal lives.

Our generous parental leave programme offers up to 26 weeks of paid primary caregiver leave at 100% of salary, and up to four weeks of paid non-primary caregiver leave.

We also understand that returning to work isn’t always easy. Our “Welcome Back” programme helps employees make the transition back after extended leave with part-time, flex-time, and work-from-home arrangements.

For employees who want to develop their skillsets and keep up with the changing nature of work, we offer an education assistance programme and learning fund of 1000USD/year. Access to LinkedIn Learning and the Harvard ManageMentor platform also put on-demand business and technical training at our employees’ fingertips. Together, these initiatives make fresh thinking the norm at Adobe.

Finally, we know that wellness and performance go hand-in-hand. Employees are reimbursed for their favourite wellness activities, and can attend weekly yoga or boot camps directly on site. We also provide free access to the Headspace app, and encourage our people to meditate whether they need to focus, boost their creativity, or just get more sleep at night.

Word from the top

As a business leader, you set the tone for your team, from the way you interact with colleagues to your work/life balance. I’ve been at Adobe just over a year now, and have been completely won over by the work culture. It’s the details, like having an open door policy, disconnecting whilst out of the office, and easy access to expert advice that makes all the difference.

On top of that, the facilities we have to support employees’ physical and mental health keeps everyone feeling refreshed and inspired. From the rooftop running track at our Shoreditch office, to breakout rooms for staff to clear their minds, to free access to the Headspace app for periodic mediation, Adobe puts a huge and welcome emphasis on wellness.

Application tips

At Adobe, we are passionate about developing leaders at all levels, from individual contributors to people managers. We look for people that meet five crucial criteria:

Be Aware – A keen sense of self-awareness is the foundation of leadership at Adobe. Whether you’re an individual contributor or a people manager, we value empathetic people who are mindful of their impact on others and on our customers

Be a Recruiter – Every leader at Adobe is both guardian and an ambassador for our business, and we encourage them to recruit the best talent in their own right. They embrace diversity of ideas, experiences and working styles in addition to high performance, because a business should reflect the world we live in

Be a Coach – We don’t believe in annual reviews and rankings. Feedback flows constantly at Adobe. Employees meet frequently with their managers to set challenging performance objectives and take advantage of continuous development opportunities

Be an Agent of Change – Our people readily adapt to change. Ambiguity or uncertainty don’t stop them from doing their work, and in fact they feel inspired to champion new approaches to deliver the best possible results

Be an Owner – Everyone at Adobe feels accountability and feels personally invested in our success. We look to our people to constantly take feedback from our customers to improve the way they work
