25 Companies and Their Leaders Recognized

Great Place to Work® will honor the leaders of 25 multinational companies at an invitation-only awards ceremony and gala dinner at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, October 27. The World’s Best Multinational Workplaces 2011 will provide the first-ever ranking of the top 25 multinational companies to work for in the world. Qualifying companies appeared on at least five national Great Place to Work® lists, and at least 40 percent of their workforce are located outside the country in which their company is headquartered.

Globally, Great Place to Work® is best known for its role in producing FORTUNE magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list for the past 14 years. In addition, Great Place to Work® research is standardized globally and forms the empirical basis of Best Companies lists in some 45 countries.

The research heavily weights employees’ views on five key attributes: credibility, fairness, respect, pride and camaraderie. It also measures attributes form the employers’ perspective with great workplaces that achieve organisational objectives with employees who give their personal best and work together as a team or family — all in an environment of trust.
