For the first time ever, this years' Corporate Responsibility Special Award, sponsored by Ac-countAbility, recognises the level of confidence that employees have in the corporate re-sponsibility of their organisation at an organisation with more than 250 employees. Through the Trust Index© survey over 25,000 employees were asked if they considered their organisation to be socially responsible, and the answers used as the basis for selecting the winner of this special award. In assessing 'the voice of the people', AccountAbility is presenting the Special Award for Corporate Responsibility to Bain & Company, whose employees demonstrated a high level of confidence in the way their organisation considers this important issue. Simon Zadek, CEO of AccountAbility, commented, "Being responsible to employees is a must; but equally employees perception of the responsibility of the organisation in a wider sense is the real test of an organisations integration of the philosophy of responsibility into their long term success model."
