CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Tom O'Byrne was appointed CEO of Great Place to Work® in the UK in 2008. He has over 30 years industrial and commercial experience and has worked in the UK

and the Republic of Ireland where he comes from. As well as running the Institute in the UK, Tom serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and managers of some of the world’s best workplaces. Prior to that, he was Sales Director of Yellow Pages in Ireland where he was responsible for £80 million of the company’s turnover.

Tom is an ex international boxer and squash player so is nifty on his feet and good at ducking and diving! He also is a seasoned commuter as he regularly travels from his home in Ireland to London's Dockland's where the UK office is based. Married to Caroline for 23 years and has one son and three daughters.
